Iva’s thoughts about life

With the power of a positive mindset and self-love, Iva was able to form the life she wanted, and the joy she needed.  She realized the key to making herself feel confident, was having her outward image reflect her inward image. She began to say daily affirmations. Iva took an oath to think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best, to be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as she is about her own, to forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future, and to wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give everyone she meets a smile. She vowed to give so much time to the improvement of herself that she has no time to criticize others.

 Iva is committed to being too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble. These commitments helped birth RealSophiticatedJoy. By sharing her story, Iva is seeking to equip teens and young adults with necessary life skills to make positive changes and impact on their lives and communities. This mission is accomplished by providing unique motivational topics and coaching that challenge and supports them through their journey. Iva has spoken to numerous civic groups, church organizations, and community women empowerment events.
